What is latisse?
LATISSE™ solution is a prescription treatment
for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them
longer, thicker and darker.
Hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not
enough eyelashes.

Y es. It is the first and only treatment
approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for
inadequate or not having enough eyelashes, growing them
longer, fuller and darker.

Can I use Latisse on both my upper and lower lashes?
LATISSE™ solution is intended for use on the skin of the
upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. DO NOT
APPLY to the lower eyelid.

What is the history of Latisse?
LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is the
latest innovation for eyelashes. But it certainly isn't the
first.
In 4000 BC men and women of ancient Egypt used "Eye
Paint" known as kohl, a powdery mix of soot and metal,
to define eyes, eye lashes and brows.
In the 1800s the Victorian age, some women created their own
homemade mascaras, utilizing ashes, elderberry and Castrol
Oil for lush alluring eyelashes.
In the 1920's the first eyelash curler (known as Kurlash),
eyeliner pencils and false eyelashes debuted. Marline
Dietrich, Greta Garbo and Bette Davis donned thicker, fuller
lashes on screen. Millions of fans followed suit.
In 1989, Max Factor, a brand with roots in the film and
television makeup industry, launched "No Color Mascara".
This earned the 'Outstanding Product of the Year" award from
the beauty industry's Rex Awards.

Does Latisse really work?
Yes, with realistic expectations. LATISSE™ is believed to
affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle
in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase;
and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth
phase. The exact way it works is unknown.
Great eyelashes
don't just happen overnight. That's why it's important to
note that LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03%
works gradually and remarkably — starting at 4 weeks with
full results after 16 weeks. Once you begin treatment, you
could start to see results in as little as 4 weeks, but you
must continue applying the topical treatment each night and
follow the directions for best results. Remember results are
gradual over time.

How soon will I see results wiyh Latisse?
LATISSE™ users may see results starting at 4 weeks with full
results after 16 weeks. The growth is gradual overnight,
over time.

Is LATISSE™ a replacement for mascara?
No, LATISSE™ does not work in place of mascara. However, mascara is a nice complement to LATISSE™ to help make your new longer eyelashes look even more attractive..

What happens if I stop using LATISSE™?
If you stop using LATISSE™, your eyelashes are expected to
return to their previous appearance over several weeks to
months.

Will I experience any side effects?
For the few that do, the most the most common side effects
after using LATISSE™ solution are an itching sensation in
the eyes and/or eye redness. This was reported in
approximately 4% of patients.

Who should NOT use Latisse?
latisse should not be used in the presence of infection
at the proposed injection site(s) and in individuals
with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the
formulation. Patients with eye pressure problems. Patients with neuromuscular disorders such
as ALS, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may
be at increased risk of serious side effects.
