Patricia S. Bainter, M.D.
  Dr. Patricia Bainter is a board certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist who has been practicing ophthalmology for more than 10 years.

She is a graduate of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute of the University of Colorado where she completed both her ophthalmology residency and her fellowship in Corneal and Anterior Segment disease.

Dr. Bainter is a La Jolla native and is excited to be back in San Diego working with Drs. Feldman and Samadani.

After completing her training in Colorado, she served on the ophthalmology faculty at the University of Colorado. Later, she joined a highly respected practice in San Francisco and supervised ophthalmologists-in-training at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Bainter took two years to provide ophthalmology care to the disadvantaged in the Dominican Republic and in Bosnia. She is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Bainter’s practice style fits perfectly with the One-to-One EyeCare philosophy. She provides thorough, highly individualized care. She takes whatever time is needed to educate her patients about their eyes and to answer all of their questions.

Dr. Bainter is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
