| Dry Eye
Syndrome is a common condition that can
cause a feeling of sand in the eye, burning
eyes, red eyes and over-production of an
irritating type of tears called “reflex
tears” that lead to the ironic symptom of
watery eyes. Treatment for Dry Eye Syndrome
can include artificial tear drops, gels and
ointments, punctual plugs (which block the
outflow of tears so that your eye can make
longer use of them), and a prescription drop
called Restasis. |
